2022 Major Taylor International Riding Challenge

Rules


1. You must be a member of the Major Taylor Association, Inc. Your cycling club's name must be found on
the Associated Clubs page.

2. If you are a member of more than one approved Major Taylor Association club, you can only ride for ONE
Major Taylor club.Your challenge results CAN NOT be split or shared across multiple Major Taylor Cycling clubs.

3. You must have a Strava account.

4. You must have your Major Taylor club initials after your name in your Strava profile.

5. You must join the Strava Club Page titled "All Major Taylor Cycling Clubs." You will not
be admitted to the Strava groupwithout your MTCC initials after your last name.

6. Your Strava riding ACTIVITIES must be visible to the ADMINS to participate in the Challenge.
View video to adjust the Strava setting. If your activities are not visible, the Challenge
pplication will not count your ride.

7. YOU CAN NOT MANUALLY ENTER ANY RIDING ACTIVITIES! Manual entries will not count!

8. Your riding miles can only be earned from outdoor or indoor riding.

9. No Electric bikes ALLOWED! No cycling rollers will be allowed.

10. Your riding miles are calculated based on the Strava ride calendar, which runs from Monday through
Sunday each week.

11. If you have any problems, you must contact contest admins for help. (Go to the Report Issues tab in
Challenge Application.) (Go to posts tab on the "All Major Taylor Cycling Clubs page on Strava.)

12. Your cycling efforts will not count if any contest rules are not followed.

13. I know human nature is competitive, but we are participating in the International Ride Challenge in
character and honorof Major Taylor!




Club Challenge Categories

1. The club with the Most Total Miles.

2. The club with the Most Average Miles.

3. The club with the Most Total Elevation.

4. The club with the Most Average Elevation.



Individual Challenge Categories

1. The Top (3) Women with the Most Total Miles.

2. The Top (3) Men with the Most Total Miles.

3. The Top (3) Women with the Most Elevation.

4. The Top (3) Men with the Most Elevation.

5. The Top (3) Women with the Most Elevation in a Single Ride.

6. The Top (3) Men with the Most Elevation in a Single Ride.

*7. The Top (3) Women with the Most Miles in a Single Ride in a 24-hour period.

*8. The Top (3) Men with the Most Miles in a Single Ride in a 24-hour period.
